MGM Medical College Kishanganj MBBS student found dead

Kishanganj: In an unfortunate incident, a second year MBBS student at MGM Medical College, Kishanganj, was found hanging from the ceiling in her hostel room under suspicious circumstances.
The police investigating the case stated that the exact cause behind her death will be known after receiving the postmortem report. They are investigating all angles, including foul play.
The incident took place on Friday when she was found hanging in her hostel room. Following this, the college authorities alerted the police immediately. After reaching the spot, the police discovered the body in suspicious circumstances.

Police sent the body to Kishanganj Sadar Hospital for a post-mortem and informed her family. The hostel room has been sealed for forensic examination. A team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) also examined the scene to collect evidence and ascertain the sequence of events.
Speaking to Patna Press, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Manglesh Kumar said, "The student’s body was discovered hanging in a hostel room under suspicious circumstances. Upon receiving information, a police team rushed to the spot, took the body into custody, and sent it to Kishanganj Sadar Hospital for post-mortem."
Considering the seriousness of the case, Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar and District Magistrate Vishal Raj visited the spot and directed officers to conduct a thorough probe from all possible angles.
The student’s classmates, hostel mates, and college authorities are being questioned to determine the circumstances leading to her death.
As per the daily, the student's father is a doctor based in Ara.

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that 30-year-old medical aspirant allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his room in a PG in Gurugram.
The aspirant was preparing for the MBBS entrance exam. The reason why he took the drastic step is still unclear, but the probe is underway.
