DME Gujarat extends Date of Choice Filling for PG Medical, Dental admissions

Gujarat: The date for PG Medical, Dental choice filling is extended, announced the Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat).

As per the notice, the date of choice filling of the 3rd online mop-up round is extended to 4.00 p.m. on 24th November 2022. To participate, candidates must give consent from their login. Candidates can change/swap/add/delete their filled choices of 3rd online mop-up round.

Guidelines for Choice filling –

1. Online Allotment of seats done based on merit cum choice. So it is merit cum choice-based Allotment.

2. Choice can be based on the criteria: Specific Branch, Specific Institute/Place, Government or SFI, and Choice based on fees.

3. In the choice filling of the Second round, Choices available for candidates/Allotment of seats will be carried out as per the Closure of the first round.

4. If a candidate cannot secure the allotted seat for whatsoever reasons, such candidate shall not be eligible to get admission in the same subject in the same institute in the successive rounds of counseling.

5. Options are - Available Choice: the candidates can see all available choices; fill Choice: to start the Choice filling process; print filled Choice: after locking choices, you can take a printout of the choice list.

6. Available Choice: the candidate can see all available choices.

7. Please check annual fees and term fees.

8. Candidates must pay term fees at the time of admission in case of NRI admission Rs. 10 lakh DD in favor of "ACPUGMEC," payable at Gandhinagar.

9. Filter choices by branch, subject, institute type, seat type, and institute.

10. Add choices. Candidates can add an unlimited number of choices.

11. Candidates can move and delete choices according to their preferences.

12. Candidates can re-arrange their choices by serial number.

13. Fill Choice: you can add choices from the left side panel to the right side.

14. Blue: Govt. Institute / Green: SFI institute.

15. GQ: Government Quota/ MQ: Management Quota/ NQ: NRI quota.

16. After saving and exiting the choices page, candidates can review their choices.

17. Click on modify choices to modify choices.

18. After typing 14-digit PIN no., candidates can lock their choices.

19. The candidates must take printouts of their locked choices. Whenever any query arises, the committee will only consider locked printout choices.

20. The candidates can again Un-Lock choices after entering 14-digit PIN No. to modify the choices.

21. If candidates fail to lock choices, they will be automatically locked on the last day.
