Baba Ram Dev visits Sir Ganga Ram Hospital to promote Yoga
Yog Guru , Baba Ram Dev , visited Sir Ganga Ram Hospital to deliver a talk to consultants and staff of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital .
Welcoming Baba Ram Dev , Dr D.S Rana , Chairman , Board of Management , Sir Ganga Ram Hospital ,said , “Yoga has been made popular all across the world by Baba Ram Dev . SGRH has established Department of Alternative Systems of Medicine under the same roof of Modern Systems of Medicine about 15 years back . It has Ayurveda including Yoga , Acupunture and Homeopathy .”
Speaking on this occasion Baba Ram Dev said , “Whether it is Allopathy or Yoga , our motto should be to decrease human suffering all around the world . There should be no controversies between any systems of medicine . We should find the cause of disease , try to prevent it & if needed , cure it, by any systems of medicine , subject to benefit to the patient . Knowledge should not be restricted in boundaries . It should be spread to all sections of society . “
Speaking further Baba Ram Dev said , “We have done experiments with Giloye and Alluvera (our ancient herbs) on Dengue patients for platelet formation and found it useful . Like Modern System of Medicine , we have started keeping scientific data , and publishing our work . We have no clash with Allopathy . In fact we can complement each other in many areas . We are involving many diagnostic modalities of Modern Systems of Medicine during treatment of patients at Patanjali Yoga Peeth . Similarly I would appeal to the Doctors to take help of our ancient systems of medicine in complete cure of the patient . An ideal world should be disease free , and that should be our aim . “
Talking about his future plans , he said , “We are going to establish World’s biggest Yoga research centre very soon . In coming few years , there will be very few companies ahead to us in profitability . Yoga is for all sections of society whether rich or poor , doctors or businessman .”
